When several women from Piedecuesta and Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia gathered to protest and march on November 25 against violence against women, they never imagined that their loud and necessary voices would become a batucada. Now, through their drums and percussion instruments, they amplify their angry voices and reach many more stages of protest and social struggle.
