Hamlet, an opera by Verdi contemporaries Franco Faccio and Arrigo Boito, based on Shakespeare's tragedy, had a "triumphal rebirth" (Deutschlandfunk Kultur) at the Bregenz Festival, where the opera was also recorded for the first time ever.
