Fujimoto receives a sealed letter from Etsuko, the wife of his lover, Yoshio. At the gay bar they used to go to, they talk about their memories with master Uehara and regular customer Iwamura. Iwamura invites the grieving Fujimoto to a hotel to comfort him.
