A little boy is standing on a platform at the railway station in Malmö, looking at a steam locomotive that is going to leave for Simrishamn. The machinery starts moving, passengers board the train. Before the boy enters the car, his mother gives him his bag, hoping he will manage this trip on his own. The boy sits down and starts looking at the other passengers.
