Iga Lis

Iga Lis (born June 25, 2000) is a Polish film director and a member of the European Film Academy. Her work has screened globally at festivals including San Francisco International Film Festival, Camerimage, Fipadoc, Thessaloniki International Documentary Film Festival, and Millennium Docs Against Gravity. Her debut feature documentary, "The Queen and the Smokehouse," became the most-watched Polish auteur documentary of the year following its 2025 theatrical release. In 2026, she earned a Polish Film Academy Award nomination for Discovery of the Year, recognizing emerging talent in Polish cinema. A History graduate of the London School of Economics, she is based between London and Warsaw.
